About Gentorrius

“Loud, funny and outgoing,” replies Gentorrius when asked how his friends would describe him. But, he says, he’s actually pretty shy until he gets to know you.

“I don’t like a lot of attention.”

Introspective and independent, Gentorrius is an avid social media enthusiast (“Mostly I lurk, but I do post sometimes.”) and a pop culture pro. When he’s not catching up on his latest reality TV fix, he’s hanging out with friends at the pool or at the movies, or reading a book.

“A favorite is The 39 Clues,” he says. “It’s a series, actually, about these kids who collect clues from all around the world to win treasure.”

As for school, “some classes are too challenging; some aren’t challenging enough,” says the teenager, who thinks he might like to be a vet.

“Or a teacher; I haven’t decided yet.”

Describing the perfect family, Gentorrius muses that it would have two parents, because that way, “if one’s mad at you the other isn’t, and if you get in trouble with one, hopefully you won’t be in trouble with both of them.” He’s also hoping they’ll be compassionate and trusting, and interested in traveling, maybe to New York or Paris.

“I’d like to see the Eiffel Tower,” he says.
